Blue Chalk Stick

Native to South Africa, this gorgeous low growing spreading succulent is one of the bluest groundcovers you’ll find. With its distinctive blue hue and unusual texture, it’s a great way to add contrast! Fast spreading to form a carpet, Blue ChalkStick is an evergreen perennial, erect or semi trailing shrub that usually stands about 40cm tall and 60cm wide when mature.

Also known as Blue Finger because its bluish-green leaves grow as long as 10cm, this bushy succulent is very versatile, working well as a groundcover, border, or in pots. Low maintenance, it can handle harsh environs, being drought tolerant and even fire retardant owing to its waxy protective coating. Just loves full sun but will also be happy in part shade.
