Description
The Orostachys Genkai is a small clumping ground cover and grows by sprouting ‘pups’ attached to long stems from each larger rosette. This plant makes a great addition to a personal collection rather than a garden ornamental due to it’s size and delicate, petite nature.
Size: small clumping succulent growing rosettes up to 15 cm in diameter with leaves that come to a point
Growing Season: Spring/Summer
Origin: East Asia
Positioning: Part to full sun
Care Instructions: The Orostachys species need well draining soil, allow to dry between watering. It grows actively in spring and summer but does not do so well in humid conditions. Propagate from the off-set pups, allow them to establish their own roots and cut them off close to the pups. Place in well-draining soil and do not water until new growth has shown.
