Long Stem Haworthia

Haworthia coarctata var tenuis, also known as the Long Stem Haworthia, is a small but striking succulent that can grow up to 30 cm in height. Its elongated rosettes of deep green leaves with fine speckled white stems give it a unique appearance, resembling its close relative, the Aloe.

These dainty succulents are small and slow-growing, but extremely hardy and easy to care for. Their distinctive shape and coloration make them ideal for succulent arrangements, such as bonsai or fairy gardens. They also make perfect gifts for the home or office desk.

While often confused with other Haworthia succulents, the Long Stem Haworthia can be distinguished by its cylindrical, pointed leaves with raised white specks. This succulent is native to South Africa and thrives in well-drained, drier conditions. When grown in clusters in a wide and shallow pot or tray, they make a stunning display. Over time, the clusters will spread as the mother plant sends off “pups,” creating a lovely and lively arrangement.
