Maialen

Sedeveria ‘Maialen’ is a hybrid succulent that combines the characteristics of Sedum and Echeveria. It features rosettes of fleshy, green leaves often tinged with pink or red at the edges. The plant’s compact growth habit makes it an attractive ornamental piece.

Native to the nursery trade, it doesn’t have a specific natural habitat but thrives in well-drained soil with moderate sunlight. It’s well-suited for rock gardens or container planting, reflecting its drought-tolerant nature.

Notable for its low maintenance and striking appearance, Sedeveria ‘Maialen’ often blooms with small, star-shaped flowers. It’s commonly used as a decorative plant in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Precautions include avoiding over-watering, as this can lead to root rot. It’s also sensitive to frost, so protection or indoor placement in colder climates is advisable. Its sap may irritate some individuals, so handling with care is recommended.
