Metallica (Haworthia attenuata ‘Metalica’ )

Genus: Haworthia
Species: attenuata

Aesthetic Description

This one doesn’t just sit in a pot — it poses. Haworthia attenuata ‘Metalica’ is all edge and shimmer, with pointed green-blue leaves arranged in fierce spirals. Each leaf is flecked with silvery-white tubercles that reflect light like brushed steel. It’s like someone took a miniature agave and dressed it for the Met Gala. The tighter the light, the sharper the highlights — this plant practically glows.

Scientific Description

Haworthia attenuata ‘Metalica’ is a cultivar of a stemless, rosette-forming succulent native to South Africa. Belonging to the Asphodelaceae family, it features fleshy, sharply triangular leaves densely marked with raised white tubercles on both surfaces. The ‘Metalica’ form is named for its unique cool-toned, metallic sheen.
