Pink Beauty

Rebutia espinosae x ‘Pink Beauty’ is a hybrid cactus resulting from the cross between Rebutia espinosae and another Rebutia species with pink flowers, likely giving it the name ‘Pink Beauty’. This cactus is characterized by its compact, globular shape and vibrant pink blooms that emerge in spring and early summer. The flowers are particularly striking against the green body of the cactus, which may be adorned with fine, white spines.

Native to the mountainous regions of Bolivia and Argentina, Rebutia espinosae x ‘Pink Beauty’ thrives in well-draining soil and prefers a sunny to partially shaded location. Like most cacti, it’s drought-tolerant once established and requires minimal water.

Notably, this cactus is often sought after by collectors and gardeners for its vibrant blooms and ease of care. However, as with all cacti, it’s essential to handle with care due to its spines and to avoid overwatering, which can lead to root rot.
