Plover Eggs Cooperi

A cute, dwarf succulent of a species known for its naturally long life, this variant of a South African native is a freely branching perennial which grows to just 7cm tall and 15cm wide. It has short, spreading, grey-brown stems featuring large, plump, silver-grey leaves that are speckled with tinges of duck egg green and dark purple. Flowers are tubular, green and red coloured, covered in bloom.

This plant makes a great indoor container subject, placed in a bright and sunny spot, though it will also tolerate light shade. In summer it can be moved to the garden. Provide gritty soil with excellent drainage and water only sparsely, allowing soil to dry out between waterings.
