Red Prince

Echeveria ‘Red Prince’ is a captivating succulent, appreciated for its vibrant red and green rosette foliage. These rosettes consist of fleshy, spoon-shaped leaves that deepen in color under sufficient sunlight, often showcasing intense shades of red, burgundy, or even nearly chocolate hues.

Native to the rocky terrains of Central America, especially Mexico, this plant thrives in well-draining soil with a strong preference for bright, indirect light. Like most Echeverias, ‘Red Prince’ doesn’t tolerate extended periods of dampness or frost.

Notable for its compact size and high ornamental value, it’s often chosen as a standout in succulent arrangements, terrariums, and rock gardens. When in bloom, ‘Red Prince’ produces coral-red flowers on slender, arching stalks, adding an extra touch of allure.

For users, it’s important to note that, while not toxic, it’s best to handle with care to prevent damage to the leaves. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so ensure a suitable watering regime.
