Variegated Dwarf Rhoeo

Variegated Dwarf Rhoeo, Tradescantia spathacea variegata, is an exceptional houseplant that will add a pop of color to any room. This clumping perennial features stunning purple and pink variegated foliage with striking cream stripes. Originally discovered in Central America, it is commonly used as a groundcover but is also a great choice for a windowsill plant. Unlike most members of the Tradescantia genus, this plant grows upwards and is not well-suited as a hanging plant.

This easy-to-care-for plant is a prolific grower, thriving in a range of growing conditions, but it will do best in indirect sunlight or bright shade. To ensure proper drainage, plant it in a breathable container like a clay pot and water the soil so that it is saturated, then allow it to dry out between waterings.

Commonly known as Variegated Dwarf Rhoeo, Moses in the Cradle, Boat Lily, and Oyster Plant, this plant will surely be a standout in any collection.
