The Gold Tooth Aloe, also known as the Variegated Gold Tooth Aloe or Variegated Mitre Aloe, is a beautiful succulent plant that can add a touch of unique charm to any indoor or outdoor space. Its botanical name is Aloe mitriformis variegata.

This medium-sized succulent can grow up to 30cm tall and forms open rosettes of variegated blue-green leaves lined with blunt spines. As the plant matures, the spines turn golden in color, creating a stunning contrast against the foliage. While it may have fewer leaves than some other aloe varieties, the Gold Tooth Aloe makes up for it with its larger and broader foliage.

Native to South Africa, this plant thrives in tropical climates and can be easily cared for by allowing it to dry out between deep watering and keeping drier in the winter. In the summer, the Variegated Gold Tooth Aloe will form large clusters of pretty red-orange tubular flowers on top of a tall 2m stem, often with multiple branches, adding a stunning pop of color to your garden or indoor space.

Overall, the Variegated Gold Tooth Aloe is a unique and striking succulent that is sure to catch the eye and add a touch of beauty to any plant collection.
