Aesthetic Description
Variegated October Daphne is a round-leafed dream with a pastel palette. Its fleshy, coin-shaped leaves are spaced evenly along arching pink stems, each one brushed with mint, cream, and a pink blush at the edges. In autumn, the pink deepens and soft starry flowers appear in soft rose clusters at the stem tips. Whether planted in a hanging pot or curving through a rock garden, it brings graceful structure and charming whimsy.
Scientific Description
Sedum sieboldii ‘Variegata’ is a cultivar of the species native to Japan, in the Crassulaceae family. This trailing succulent forms loose, arching mounds with opposite, rounded leaves. The variegated form has pale green centers with creamy margins and pink tints, especially in cooler months. It blooms in autumn with small, pink, star-shaped flowers.
